What is your career goal? Would you love to work for the NHS? Would you love to become a Nurse? Are you hoping to become a Care Manager?

Take the first step on your journey and join my client, a Liverpool-based care provider. Offering an excellent training and development package tailored to your interests and your career goals, they have seen workers go on to greatness. You would join a workforce of over 100 local people committed to providing top quality care, and having fun whilst they do it.

You will provide care to people with complex needs, dementia, or end of life care needs, requiring a high level of support including personal care. As such, you will always work within a team. You would work around 40 hours per week which would include days, evenings, nights and weekends, so you must be flexible.

You do need to have a proven background having worked in care, though you do not need to have obtained your Care Certificate or QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care, as this will be provided (by an Ofsted 'excellent' rated provider no less) once you pass your probation. If you have these qualifications already, great!

You will be located at one service, so you do not need to be a driver.

The rate of pay is £7.50 per hour, rising to £7.85 per hour on the completion of your QCF Level 2. If you already hold your qualification, your pay rises to £7.85 per hour as soon as you pass probation. You will be pleased to know that you will be paid your hourly rate for sleep ins which equates to £60 per night.

As per benefits, as you can see above, your new employer will encourage you to achieve your career goals, whatever they may be. Previous staff have gone on to manage services, and to complete Nursing degrees! You will work alongside a genuinely supportive, friendly team, and will have plenty of opportunities to socialise and to go on nights out. You will also receive a generous holiday entitlement, going beyond statutory requirements after one year, will receive a pension, sick pay, childcare vouchers, and enhanced maternity and paternity leave dependent on length of service.

If you are a friendly and outgoing person looking to be rewarded for their hard work, this is the role for you.
