CAS Behavioral Health provides high quality specialist healthcare to adults with a variety of diagnosis including; Mental Health, Learning Disability, Acquired Brain Injury, Autism and Personality Disorder. Our expert knowledge and highly dedicated care enables us to make a positive difference.
We are currently recruiting support workers to work 42 hours per week for The Gables. The post holder will be based at a small residential home in Colchester.
Salary/Benefits: £7.65 p/h, Pension Scheme, Training and development opportunities, cycle to work scheme, DBS paid for.

The Gables is a specialist residential homme for up to 7 adults with learning disabilities who may also have additional complex needs. The Gables provides a longer term placement for adults who require a supportive home, with round the clock care.
Job Role
In this role you will;
• Build professional relationships with the clients and other staff at your establishment and throughout the company and disengage from these appropriately
• Do everything possible to maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live and work in, this will involve domestic duties
• Learn about our individual's specific needs and help meet those needs in the most appropriate way following all policies and procedures
• Assist clients with their medical and welfare needs and to report as required, which may include the administration of emergency "when required" medication
• Support our clients to maintain their personal cleanliness, general hygiene and appearance, this may include intimate care, following individual care plan

• Ability to participate in training and development to enable the job to be done to the required standard
