Our client based in central Reading are looking for a Trainee Pensions Administrator to join their pensions team. After having provided their expertise within the pensions and employee benefits sector for nearly 40 years, our client is now looking to expand their internal administration team.


* Maintaining data and processing requests in relation to the Pension database and membership
* Completing updates to the pensions database to ensure that records are accurately maintained
* Dealing with enquiries on the telephone, email and in writing
* Dealing confidently with member enquiries by phone, e-mail and letter
* Dealing with general and administration duties as directed
* Ensuring that work is prioritised correctly so that target dates are met


* Computer literate, including Word and Excel
* Organised, methodical and logical approach to tasks
* Common sense and attention to detail
* Good time management skills
* Can do attitude and takes pride in work
* Ability to work in a team towards targets
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Good standard of education
* Previous experience of working within an office environment
