Job Title: Part time Purchase Ledger Clerk

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 3.00pm

Salary: £8.00 - £8.50 per hour

Location: Stone

Candidate Requirements:

Education & Experience Required:

* It is essential that you have previous experience within a similar purchase ledger role
* Proven track record as an individual who can deliver effectively and on time
* Managing of multiple tasks simultaneously from start to finish
* Full working knowledge and experience of Sage 50

Personal attributes required:

* Able to perform under pressure and make decisions
* Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
* Excellent problem solving, organisational and progress control skills
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
* Good time management
* Self-motivated

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk, to join a rapidly growing business in the area. You will be responsible for duties as follows:

* Invoice to purchase order matching
* Payments by bank transfer
* Monitoring payment deadlines
* Journal posting
* Month end reconciliation to deadline
* To provide back up within the Accounts department where needed
* Use of Microsoft Office - word - excel - email
* Strong administration skills and attention to detail
* Ability to achieve deadlines
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
