Teaching Assistant Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will lead small groups and one to one interventions under the guidance of the class teacher. In this role, you will be creating a strong knowledge of phonics amongst pupils, deciding on goals/aims for the week with your core group of pupils and achieving them! Our client schools are looking for a teaching assistant who is happy getting involved in an after-school club, possibly even starting one.

You will be a responsible graduate who has the skills and personality to develop strong bonds with others. As a Teaching Assistant, you should possess strong communicative skills that will allow you to approach all learners. The ideal candidate will have the ability to hit the ground running and be hands on with any problems encountered. You will be a graduate who can use your attentiveness to understand certain situations and demonstrate empathy where required.
