We are currently recruiting a Senior Support worker to join our team at Fairways in Ipswich.
Job Role:
As a Senior Support Worker you will you be responsible for ensuring patients filing and documentation complies with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
You will also guide and train support workers to follow correct policies and procedures.
A main duty of a senior support worker is to induct new employees and providing refreshers for already employed support workers to make sure they are up to date with new polices and procedures to fulfill their roles which in turn keeps our residents safe.
Senior support workers will also help with assisting clients with independent living skills/personal hygiene and encouraging independence where possible whilst leading a team of support workers.
About you:
As a senior support worker you will give evidence of functioning in a supervisory role and have the ability to manage, resolve crisis and conflict within the workplace.
You should be able to lead a team in a private healthcare environment and have the knowledge of working with young adults with autism and learning disabilities.
You will be able to sustain leading by example by complying with laws and acts that regulate the safety of the people in your care.

Specific Requirement
