Trainee Sales Executive


eSift are currently looking for a friendly, outgoing and motivated candidate with the drive to develop a career within sales to join our client, a leading distributor and wholesaler of pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare products.

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone who has recently finished education and is looking for their first step on the career ladder, or a candidate with previous work history looking for a change in direction for their career!

Location: Based in Chessington, Surrey (KT9)

Salary: Basic of £18k per annum

Bonus: Up to £12k per annum plus a range of amazing incentives including all-expenses paid trips, gadgets and more!

Hours: Monday to Friday – 11am – 7pm

The main purpose of this role is to contact existing customers and accounts alongside those who have registered interest in the products on offer, maintaining and developing new business. You will be offering them a range of over the counter pharmaceutical products across a portfolio, offering them the best possible rates and prices without compromising on company profit.

The role will involve no cold calling and is focused purely around developing and maintaining strong relationships with a variety of customers across the UK. You will also be using various selling techniques to overcome objections and negotiate prices, working towards and achieving individual and company sales targets.

You will be fully responsible for planning and organising your own outbound call schedule, accepting incoming calls, developing your product knowledge and increasing customer order value by offering additional products and special offers.

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

* A friendly and approachable manner with the confidence to pick up the phone and speak with a variety of customers
* No previous experience is required, but any roles you may have held within a customer facing environment would be advantageous
* The ability to build excellent relationships – both internal and external customers
* Strong IT skills, within this role you need to be able to type quickly when processing and placing orders – you will be using the likes of Word & Excel on a regular basis
* GCSE in Maths and English would be preferable
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Good organisational skills
