Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Officer to join a Practice in Barnsley. During the role, you would process multiple Payrolls of different clients throughout the month using Sage Payroll. You must have experience of this to be successful in the role.

Duties:
- Managing the Payroll for a wide range of clients.
- Processing weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and 4 weekly Payroll.
- Manual calculations of pay deductions and additions.
- Liaising with HMRC and other external agencies to resolve queries.
- Calculating statutory payments (SMP, SPP, SSP, Holiday Pay).
- Preparing and sending BACs payments to employees accounts.

The Person:
- At least 2 years' experience in a Payroll bureau or practice environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative.

Salary: £9,000 - £10,000 pro rata
Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible.
