Junior Sous Chef, Cambridge Café/Bistro, £10.00ph +TIPS

At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Sous Chef.

A 70 cover restaurant/café situated in Cambridge City Centre, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks 7 days a week.

The Role
Junior Sous Chef needed to join a team of talented chefs. Supporting the Head and Sous Chef the job involves managing the team whilst on shift, preparing fresh ingredients for breakfast & lunch and then participating in service, occasional evenings may be required. My client needs someone with experience of cooking from scratch in a busy environment, who cares about making delicious, seasonal food.

Experience and Skills required
*Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
*Training on HACCP & COSHH systems.
*Creative and passionate about food.
*Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Personal Characteristics
*Flexible as regards to shift patterns
*Responsible and trustworthy
*Have the ability to manage a team to produce fantastic results

Salary and Benefits
*My client is offering the successful Brunch Chef between £10.00 per hour +TIPS
*Evenings off
*Fantastic working environment
