Weekend Chef - OX11

Servest are recruiting for a Chef to be based within a business and industry site around Didcot.

About the role;

The position is working Saturday and Sunday 14:00 - 19:00. (2pm-7pm)

You will report to the Kitchen Manager and be used to volume cooking.

Your main role is to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to a high standard.

You will Assist in menu planning, costing`s, ordering, stock control and monitoring wastage.

You must be able to drive and have access to your own car as you will work across a few sites within the area.

We are looking for a Chef with the following;

Background within business and industry contract catering

Ideally at least a 701 or 702 equivalent

To be able to work under pressure within a large team

Enthusiastic in driving the business and team forwards

Good working practices and a positive attitude

Good sound Knowledge of health and safety and food safety

Excellent communication and customer service skills - as you will be interacting with the customers base and onsite client

A real passion for food and service, with the ability to prepare and cook good quality seasonal food.
