I am looking for a House Keeper to work 30 hours a week in a Mental Health Hospital setting

Your new company
You will be working for a group who's services are based on a positive philosophy of valuing people. There is an expectation that all staff will treat patients, visitors and colleagues as individuals and with respect and dignity at all times. This company is an established provider of support and recovery to patients with mental health needs across the UK.

Your new role
You will be based in Ashley, near Newcastle Under Lyme.

You will
-Clean and damp dust all work surfaces as required.
Empty rubbish bins and replace bin liners in all areas on a daily basis.
-Clean and disinfect washrooms, lavatories, shower cubicles and baths ensuring stocks of toilet paper and paper towels are replenished as and when required.
-Vacuum floors and carpets on a regular basis and pick up litter. Mop and clean laminate floor surfaces.
-Clean internal windows and glass panels to doors and window frames/ledges as required.
-Clean and polish mirrors, pictures and picture frames.
-Ensure stocks of cleaning materials/supplies are maintained and requests for re-ordering of equipment and supplies are made prior to stocks running low.
-Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed.
-This includes the safe management of keys, locked areas, resources and for following procedures that are set out in the Unit Policy and Procedure Manuals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a driver with your own vehicle or mode of transport as this hospital is based in a rural locations (Ashley).

You will -
-Be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, members of the multi-disciplinary care team and senior professional and managerial staff.
-Conform at all times to the Policies and Procedures of the Company, with particular regard to confidentiality, financial and administrative responsibilities, and treat patients, colleagues and visitors with dignity and respect at all times.
-Practice the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and take responsibility for ensuring that work is undertaken in such a manner as to ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others. This should be done by ensuring that work is undertaken in accordance with and co-operating with instructions and training received and by reporting any area posing a potential health and safety concern.
-Maintain and support all quality initiatives and objectives introduced into the organisation.
-Have access to a wide range of confidential information about patients, staff and The Huntercombe Group Ltd which must not be divulged to any unauthorised person in any circumstances at any time.
-Be flexible and adaptable and undertake any other appropriate roles and responsibilities as requested and required.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £7.50 per hour (30 hours per week) + benefits. You be part of a dedicated team of house keepers with potential for overtime work if required.
