So, what will the role of Finance and Accounts Administrator entail?

Reporting to the Management Accountant and working as part of the wider Finance Team, as the Finance and Accounts Administrator you will predominantly provide support for the purchase ledger, and assist as and when required with month end processes, working to tight deadlines. Your duties will include, although not be limited to;

* Processing circa 850 purchase invoices per week
* Reconciling month end processing, investigating and presenting accurate information
* Taking responsibility for auditing and checking expenses to ensure paid in accordance with company policies, identifying and raising differences
* Maintaining the company’s Customer Relationship Management system
* Supporting the Finance Team on a day to day basis
* Resolving queries and other general administrative duties

What will I need to be considered for this Finance and Accounts Administrator vacancy?

* Proven experience gained within a similar role, or knowledge gained through studies, i.e. a finance graduate, studying for AAT or similar professional qualification
* Accurate and timely data entry skills, with a high level of attention to detail
* Excellent data analysis skills
* IT proficiency, including with Microsoft Excel
* Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively whilst multi-tasking
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong sense of accountability and ownership, and a strong team player
* Flexibility towards tasks and hours
* Highly motivated with a proactive and innovative approach to work
* Aptitude and willingness to develop and take on responsibility

An understanding of pivot tables and working knowledge of financial accounts packages such as Sage, would be advantageous although not essential.

What will I receive in return?

You will be based within a growing business, where your efforts and performance will be noticed and rewarded.

Salary: £14,625 to £16,000, level dependent on current experience and qualifications.

Excellent Benefits: Up to 18% annual bonus, Boots discount card, pension scheme, life assurance cover after completion of probationary period, childcare voucher scheme, long service awards, and annual leave entitlement starting at 20 days plus bank holidays rising with length of service increments to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays.

Contracted Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
