Accounts Administrator/Purchase Ledger

£15,000 per annum

Cardiff (Outskirts)

Are you an experienced Accounts Administrator, with a good knowledge of Purchase Ledger? Do you have an excellent attention to detail, and can work to a high level of accuracy?

If so, then we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

* Timely and accurate coding, processing and filing of purchase ledger invoices across multiple business units.
* Resolve any queries on purchase ledger accounts or payments.
* Reconciling supplier accounts on a monthly basis.
* Month end purchase ledger control.
* Raise weekly/monthly cheques & Bacs payments for authorisation.
* Management of coil book ensuring correct valuation of stock records.
* Providing cover with the preparation of daily report requirements.
* Financial administration.
* Raising invoices daily for inter company entities.
* Aid the finance team to meet its deadlines within tight reporting timelines.
* Daily and weekly reporting of the business KPI's.
* Any other ad-hoc duties when required by the business.

Competencies:

* Experience of accounts in particular purchase ledger processing

Desirable:

* Previous experience of purchase ledger and Sage 200 system.
* Polite and professional telephone manner.
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
* A team player with a pleasant and affable personality.
* AAT Qualification.
