About the Maths Teaching Assistant role

In this Maths Teaching Assistant position, you will be working in the high-achieving Maths Department, lending support to lessons on an ad-hoc basis. The rest of your time in this Maths Teaching Assistant role will be spent taking intervention and booster groups as well as supporting 1:1 sessions inside and outside of class to ensure every student is achieving their best. As your confidence grows in this Maths Teaching Assistant role, you will be given the opportunity to deliver some pre-planned Maths lessons, this will allow you to show off your skills to the Head of Maths who is keen to offer paid Teacher training spots to Maths Teaching Assistants that excel in this role.
