Permanent position – Paid to scale– 5 days per week – September 2017 start

The Governors and recently appointed Principal of a popular dual-form entry primary school academy wish to appoint an inspirational, reflective and creative Early Years teacher to start September 2017.

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching in an early years setting and will be able to excite, challenge and encourage a love of life and learning in the children they teach. Knowledge of assessment within EYFS and continuous provision is essential, and they must be able to work as part of a team, have a good sense of humour and create an environment that promotes excellence and learning. Applications from NQTs are welcome.

The pupils are friendly, well-behaved and eager to learn. The school have a hardworking team of teachers and support staff and the governors are active and supportive. They highly value professional development and will offer training and support for the successful candidate.

If you are a qualified Teacher, the following requirements are essential:

• You must have QTS and your teacher reference number must be registered with the Teaching Agency, with no restrictions
• You must have recent experience (within the last two years) of teaching in primary school and be up to date with the National Curriculum
• You must have a commitment to outstanding teaching practice, be professional, sensitive and sometimes manage challenging behaviours and children's' social and emotional needs
• You must be a team player with a positive outlook and you need to give 100%
• You must be committed to continued professional development and be willing to attend any essential training, stay late when needed and take on the full role of the absent class teacher
• Mark all work and leave clear handover notes
