We are currently assisting a well-known London Insurance Company recruit for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to lead an FP&A team consisting of an Expense Analyst. The role is due to the growth and the splitting of their FP&A team to have separate teams for their Syndicate and Company Market papers.

Reporting directly into the Senior FP&A Manager you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the complete Company Market planning and reporting function by undertaking duties as below:-
Leading the reporting, expense planning and budgeting process with communication of monthly Company Market results showing clear and concise commentary.
Owning the shared service expense allocation
Leading on flash reporting of monthly GWP and revenue reports.
Leading on monthly/quarterly and annual KPI reporting.
Responsible for reviewing reconciliations and management accounts, accurately on a monthly basis.
Leading the accurate forecasting process for the company including rolling forecasts.
Owning the budgeting and forecasting process for the company paper.
Leading and developing the financial modelling and reporting process.
Leading the preparation of statutory accounts including and regulatory reporting.
Managing the day to day accounts payable and expenses function.
Our client would entertain an individual willing to take a step up into a management role as long as you can prove mentoring/team leading experience.

It is essential that you have experience of the Insurance industry, ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equiv) qualified with a proven track record of managing a team within FP&A.
