As an Insurance Risk Manager, your role will be to assist the Head of Risk Management in maintaining the Risk Management Framework and producing key risk analysis across the Group of Companies. Providing assurance across this multi-billion Group of companies on a wide range of assurance matters.

As an Insurance Risk Manager the key responsibilities will be as follows:

-Ensure the Risk Strategy and policies are embedded and adhered to within Insurer and Service Company Divisions;

-To monitor compliance with Risk Appetite Statements;

-Act as the point of contact for Insurer and Service Company Divisions on all risk matters;

-Design, implement and report on deep dives into key risks identified to provide assurance on the efficacy of controls to key stakeholders;

-Responsible for producing risk reports for each division in line with the laid down deadlines;

-Support Risk Reporting Officer in producing risk dashboard, ensuring any feedback is implemented in a timely manner;

-Attend Operational and Divisional SMT meetings to present risk reports;

-Support the completion of Solvency II reporting, namely ORSA, SFCR & RSR;

-To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as required by the Head of Risk Management;

-To adhere to Company processes with regard to FCA and FSC compliance and Treating Customers Fairly;

-To ensure that DPA, FCA, FSC & TCF and other regulatory requirements are met.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of General Insurance industry;
Experience in Risk, Audit or Solvency II implementation team within an insurance company or a consultancy;
Experience in risk identification and analysis;
Experience in documenting processes, risk and controls;
Experience in the development and production of Risk/Control MI reports;
Strong knowledge of MS Office including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
