SALARY: circa to £20,000

We are looking for a candidate who has a warm and welcoming personality, excellent people skills, and is a strong leader of people with the ability to manage and develop a small team.

We are looking for candidates from a country house or luxury hotel background with excellent guest service skills.

The Role:

* Responsible for the smooth running of the Front of House Department, including Duty Manager shifts and overseeing the front office team, night porter and house keeping.
* Ensuring the smooth running of the foh, ensuring standards are maintained and guest expectations are exceeded, following up where required
* Responsible for the training and development of your team, recruitment, coaching and one to one appraisals
* Handling any guest complaints and issues that arise on a daily basis
* Apply a sales strategy to maximise occupancy and filter this down to the team
* Ensure an excellent level of customer service and attention to detail is delivered throughout the front of house operation
* Develop relationships with all departments, promoting a good team work ethic
