Are you an experienced Residential Support Worker looking for a new permanent opportunity? We are currently working with some fantastic, Nottingham based Children's homes, and are looking for 3 permanent staff members. The organisation is well known and has a good reputation, the staff team are fantastic and the homes are of fantastic quality. All of this adds up to some fantastic work being done with the Children that they support.

You will ideally have at least 1 years experience working in a similar setting with 8-16 year old children and in that time have gained at least NVQ level 2 or equivalent. You should also hold a good and up to date knowledge of policy relating to children and young people.

Any formal training you have will be beneficial, particularly in Safeguarding, restraint, Food Hygiene or First Aid. Ongoing training is provided in this role so please do not be put off if you do not have the above.

There is a need for Children to be transported from time to time, and for this reason the company need the majority of their staff to hold full driving licences and have access to a vehicle.

Due to the nature of this work, all successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check if not already registered online. The cost of this will be met by the employer.
