Prospero Teaching is looking for a Primary Teacher to work in an Outstanding SEN school in Harrow, North West London, on a year long contract starting in September 2017. The successful teacher will work 3 - 4 days a week and will benefit from excellent support from the school, detailed below.

The school are happy to accept any qualified teacher, but are interested in hiring a mainstream teacher looking to make the transition into SEN education.

About the school:

*Caters for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties
*Students aged 4 - 11 years old
*Offers high levels of support to their teachers, including archived lesson plans, planning partners and numerous experienced support staff
*Small class sizes - maximum of 10 students

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right teacher to get involved in this special school, and gain experience in an area of education not many teachers have. The successful teacher will carry this experience throughout their career, which is highly valued by mainstream and Special Educational Needs schools alike.

As mentioned, mainstream teachers are greatly encouraged to apply as well as current SEN teachers.

The successful Teacher must have:

*Qualified Teacher Status
*Solid mainstream education experience
*Ability differentiate appropriately for all learners
*The skills to ensure good progress of Special Educational Needs students
*An optimistic outlook and the skills to encourage students to achieve their highest potential
*Willingness to contribute to wider extra-curricular school activities
