Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Location: London, Covent Garden
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Role: Permanent


THE ROLE

As a retail manager with our client your role is to maximize the sales and profit potential for the store through providing excellent levels of customer service, managing store activities effectively along with building and developing a motivated and knowledgeable team. Working with a quality product that enables you to really demonstrate your ability to sell and provide your customers with great customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a retailer that enjoys spending time with their team and delivering a great product to customers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Providing excellent customer service within your store, leading by example
  • Managing the visual standards within your area
  • Managing and developing all staff
  • Managing all costs in line with the departmental budgets
  • Managing all promotional activity
  • Delivering on store KPI’s
  • Retail experience required, ideally from a high street retailer
  • Strong visual merchandising skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • KPI and target driven
  • Passionate about working in a dynamic retail environment
IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will need to be a talented retailer with a passion for customer service, people management and a strong desire to succeed. Our client has a range of stores and as such can offer the opportunity for progression throughout the company.
  • Proven track record of managing a team
  • Have a genuine passion for setting and achieving high store standards
  • Experience a highly customer-focused environment
  • Proven background of achieving sales targets, strong commercial acumen
  • First class communication skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Excellent coaching and people management skills
  • Ability to prioritize all key functional areas within the retail business
  • Good analytical skills
  • Stock control management
