Our client, based in South West London, is a leading PR, Media Training, Learning & Development and Corporate film making company. They provide everything from strategic messaging and media training to pro-active public relations campaigns and crisis communications. They also offer innovation learning & training solutions and award winning corporate films.

Their award-winning team are all top-class media professionals from a variety of PR and journalistic backgrounds. This unique mix of skills makes our media training, PR and corporate filming particularly effective, and they are increasingly engaging all three in 360 campaigns.

Their client base features a large number of Britain’s leading companies including INEOS, Addison Lee, Barclays, HSBC, American Express, Marks & Spencer, Tesco and John Lewis.

About you:

You are an ambitious Sales professional with a strong understanding of agency PR business development, who is looking to further your career. You want more responsibility as well as the opportunity to learn new skills and work with new and exciting blue chip clients. You have proven sales success developing both new and existing business, though predominantly new clients. You will also have experience in pitch creation and delivery and will know best practice of successful pitching. This role requires a professional approach to sales and account management, enthusiasm and ambition.

You will be able to structure your own time and workload, carry out the required industry research and administrative work, and provide weekly sales reporting to the senior team. You will keep up-to-date with new developments in the communications sector and understand how to leverage the clients many successful campaigns to secure new business.

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Experience as a Senior Sales AE / Sales Account Manager at a PR/Communications agency

  • At least 4 years of sales experience

  • Write to an exceptional standard

  • The ability and desire to sell

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A positive, confident and determined approach

  • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection

  • A high degree of self-motivation and ambition

  • The skills to work both independently and as part of a team

  • The capability to flourish in a competitive environment

  • An excellent level of numeracy

    The starting salary is between £33,000 to £36,000 per annum, plus benefits.
