Our European Client Services team leads the development of international major client relationships. Based in London, we act as the central hub for all major client activity in Europe, Middle East and Latin America, responding to competitive tenders and brokering agreements for key clients, as well as acting as a liaison point for our own European operating businesses. Our team is expanding and for this reason we are seeking a trainee bid co-ordinator.

Reporting to the Commercial Bid Director, you will support the sales team, responsible for shaping and authoring bid responses, working closely with colleagues in different countries to make sure we are capturing our strengths and experience in a concise and clear manner for clients.

You will also support the management of the internal commercial sign off process for bids and tenders internationally. Finally you will act as the first point of contact for queries and questions relating to our business, liaising with colleagues across the world and will support the team with the generation, collation and analysis of data for our various clients and prospects-using our internal systems and the internet.

This will entail liaison and relationship building with colleagues in different countries to gather information, working to variable deadlines according to client needs. It is also envisaged that the role will develop to include client liaison and management on behalf of Hays.

This role requires a self-starter with strong communication and listening skills and clear attention to detail. Second European language and international working experience highly desirable.

Good working knowledge of MS Office Packages is essential. In return you will receive valuable experience and excellent training in bid and sales management within a successful and dynamic team in a truly international business environment.
