Butchery Manager, North Wales
Butchery Manager, Farm Shop.
Our client, a multi award winning food centre, is looking for a Butchery Manager to assume responsibility for their location in North Wales.
As Butchery Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of a farm shop which is open 7 days a week and boasts an impressive turnover.
The product offering includes traditional fresh meats, Welsh black beef, salt marsh lamb, seasonal poultry and homemade sausages.
Managing a small team (4 other members of the butchery), the successful candidate will have strong knife skills and be confident in their ability to Bone, Cut, Tie and Portion Control. You will also be customer focussed with strong sales skills and an enthusiasm for driving sales whilst delivering exceptional levels of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team of people with a proven success. The ideal candidate will also have experience of new product development, in particularly ready meals.
The hours are 40 hours per week 5 days out of 7.
Applicants should have a proven track record of work in a similar environment, ideally at management level of five years or more (though candidates looking to make the step up to management level will also be considered) and a real enthusiasm for food.
In return for meeting the above criteria the successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £25,000 per annum (dependant on experience) with a bonus structure in place and a chance to be part of a forward thinking company with a very exciting future.
