Location: Near Newcastle Upon Tyne

Salary: circa £37,000 - £39,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week

This Deputy Manager is required to join a dynamic team within an independent hospital which provides assessment and intervention for clients with learning disability and complex needs.

The successful candidate will be doing work which is extremely valuable and meaningful to all service users. It's important that applicants understand the importance of such a service within the local community.

The Deputy Manager provides effective leadership to the service alongside the Service Manager and acts as a role model to the staff team. The Deputy Manager also works with the local authority, other stakeholders and regulatory bodies - you will work with the Manager and have responsibility and accountability for the delivery of a high-quality service, and promote a positive culture.

It is the responsibility of the Deputy Manager, with the support of the Manager, to ensure staff are orientated to achieving the 'outcome targets' of the Quality Strategy, and clear about their individual contribution.

Person Specification:

The successful applicant will be a proven leader and will have worked with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care who are committed to quality. The candidate should be a Qualified Nurse (RNLD or RMN or RGN).
