We are recruiting on behalf of a 2 form entry inner city Liverpool Primary School for an Attendance & Inclusion Officer to work full time from September 2017.
You will be joining a welcoming staff, focused on teamwork and success.

Ideally you will be educated to NVQ Level 3 or 4, with at least one year's experience of working within a school attendance related service.

You will be responsible for the recording and inputting of attendance data, be familiar with SIMS, and be able to provide reports and statistics for the SLT.

Your experience will mean you have the ability to communicate confidently at all levels, both orally and in writing to pupils, parents, teaching staff and external agencies, as you will be the first point of contact for all attendance issues in the school. Ideally you will hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle as contact with pupils and their families at home is essential.

You will have a calm positive approach, being able to deal with situations that maybe stressful or sensitive, and will be an integral part of the school's drive to raise achievement standards. You will work alongside the Safeguarding Team regarding child protection.
