£20,273 - £21,552 per annum

We have recently restructured our learning disability services to provide additional Senior Support Workers within our services and increased the salary for this position. As such, we are now recruiting for a Senior Support Worker in this service

The role of Senior Support Worker involves role modelling good practice to the team and supporting staff to maintain consistently high standards of service delivery. You should have significant experience of supporting people with autistic spectrum condition and learning disabilities.

As part of the management team, you will need excellent organisational skills and will be able to regularly update computerised records and documentation. Excellent communication skills are required of the successful candidate as you will be regularly supporting client with meeting families, friends and other professionals.

About the service: Windebanks is home to four adults with learning disabilities. Some require support to access the community and carry out cooking, cleaning and tasks around their home. The service is based in a pleasant area of Donnington and is made up of five self-contained flats spread over two floors.
