A good school with outstanding features based in the vibrant borough of Lambeth are looking to recruit a Geography teacher to join them on a full-time, permanent basis starting in September!

The Position:

You will be joining an extremely strong Humanities Department which consists of 2 Geography specialists and 4 History specialists. Due to the dramatic increase in Geography being chosen at GCSE and A-Level this school now need a talented Geography teacher to join them on their journey to achieving the best results the school have achieved for the second year running. Ideally the Geography teacher joining them would have experience teaching Geography to A-level and would be able to take on A-Level classes successfully, however, due to having Geography specialists already within the department the time table can be restructured so that you will only be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4.

The department is extremely well structured and due to this they have an extremely high level of success with 76% of students obtaining A* - C in Geography GCSE results last year and 83% obtaining A - C in Geography A-Level results last year.

Requirements for this role:

You must have:

* At least 2 years teaching Geography in the UK
* A relevant degree
* UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) following a teacher training programme
* An in date DBS
* The ability to hit the ground running in an already successful department
