You will be one of the NICEIC qualifying supervisors, and will monitor and audit electricians work and sign their NIC certificates. You will manage and coordinate the delivery of the property work stream including electrical jobs, improvements or associated works delegated to you by the Contracts Managers or Head of Services from inception through to handover, ensuring compliance with Health and safety, exceeding resident satisfaction targets and meeting the quality assurance measures required by our clients.

You will manage, support and develop the skills of the Lead Operatives, trades staff and apprentices

Essential Skills and requirements:

* Proactively manage the team efficiently and effectively overseeing all works ensuring productivity and commercial value of both individuals and reporting teams.
* Carry out pre and post inspections to agreed levels to meet client and quality assurance standards.
* Manage the void process ensuring a fast turnaround of stock.
* Manage all aspects of Health and Safety for all projects.
* Effectively investigate, review and respond to complaints in line with the relevant policy.
* Assist with and provide detailed reporting for inclusion in contractual monthly client and internal reports.
* Instruct, coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and directly employed operatives providing challenge where appropriate to deliver continual improvement.
* Must have experience in the management of electrical contracts and working on supported housing
* Have the ability to push ahead with innovation to ensure a value for money ensuring this motivations filters through to all team members
* Must have managerial experience and ideally experience of having worked in a similar role within social housing.
