Our Client has an opportunity for someone to become part of an experience installation team (shop fitting), in a fast moving environment. The client specialises in the niche market of high quality installation to the retail and commercial catering industry.
The ideal candidate will be within commuting distance to Canterbury, however will be working throughout the U.K but mainly the London and South East regions. Candidates will be paid for their travel time.
Due to the work patterns of the industry you must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, once contractual have been met, you will receive overtime pay above your salaried monthly income.
Full product training will be provided with the opportunity to learn new trades and skills including promotion for the right candidate possessing leadership abilities.
Candidates will be supplied with a company van and power tools however they will need to supply their own hand tools. Branded work wear and tablets for site reports will be supplied also.
The ideal candidate will come from a trade background and have hand on tools experience.
Salary: Our client is willing to offer a salary of £18,000 - £19,500 (negotiable depending on experience).
Requirements of the Site Installer
·Basic DIY and hand tool skills.
·Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
·Possess a good level of written, verbal and communication skills.
·Ability to work flexible hours
·Clean driving licence as travel to sites will be necessary.
·A methodical approach to problem solving.
·Willingness to undertake personal development.
·Current passport.
·Ability to use a tablet and related software.

·A minimum of 2 years' work experience in installation, within the retail and commercial sectors.
·Good understanding of basic electrical installation.
·Good understanding of basic plumbing works.
·Good understanding of basic carpentry.
·Good understanding of basic metal work.
·Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualification.
·First Aider.
·Asbestos Awareness certificate.
·Ability to demonstrate team management and leadership qualities.
CSCS Card - desirable if currently held but can be obtained once employed.
