I am seeking a skilled, focussed and committed deputy manager to join an establish single occupancy residential service for adults with autism, complex care needs and associated challenging behaviours in the Wolverhampton area.

You will join an established independent provider and work closely with a skilled registered manager to deliver high quality care and support.

You will be based within a modern residential setting, local to Wolverhampton City Centre and have great access to local amenities and public transport links.

Employed on a full time basis, you will predominantly work a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 9-530pm. As with all care related managerial roles, you will be expected to share the "on call" rota and have flexibility to cover shifts from time to time to facilitate in the smooth running of the service.

You will work closely with an experienced registered manager and you will share responsibility for care and support planning, staff supervisions, recruitment and training. You will ensure that all care delivered is in line with CQC and company procedures and that the promotion of choice, independence and dignity is always at the forefront of service delivery.

I am seeking applications from calm, resilient and motivated deputy managers who are eager to make a difference to the lives of the people in their care. You will also have excellent CQC knowledge and a proven background supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs.

To be considered for this exciting job role, you will possess, as a minimum, the QCF level 3 in health and social care and be committed to securing the level 5 in leadership and management. You will also be able to demonstrate a proven background as a team leader or deputy manager within the learning disabilities sector. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is also essential.
