Assistant QS - Oxford - £35,000-£45,000 + full benefits package

Are you an established Assistant Surveyor seeking your progressive next opportunity? Do you have experience within a main contract environment? Do you live within commutable distance to Oxford?

If the answer is yes, please read on and apply as this award winning and friendly main contractor are currently seeking an Assistant QS to join their team on a permanent basis. Focused and growing on a newly confirmed project, this opportunity is to be part of what is a rapidly expanding area for the business into Oxford.

Responsibilities of the successful AQS includes:

* Putting together sub contract packages
* Ensure the project and programme targets are met
* Maintain and coordinate all commercial reports required
* Ensure all subcontract issues are resolved
* Represent the business and maintain the highest possible standards
* Managing/agreeing valuations/variations
* Managing and negotiating with subcontractors
* Procuring subcontractors
* Cash flow forecasts

Requirements of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor includes:

* Have a degree in Quantity Surveying and post qualification experience
* Show longevity to previous employers
* Be commercially astute and have a keen eye for detail
