Insurance Sales Broker - Competitive salary between £20k and £26k, dependant on experience, OTE £27k - £35k (uncapped bonus system)

Brook Street are pleased to present an excellent opportunity which has arisen to work for a rapidly expanding sales team within a very successful top 5 mortgage broker based in Whiteley. My client is currently recruiting for an Insurance Sales Broker to join their Lifestyle Protection Team. My client is a well established and professional financial services company. They offer a fun and friendly office atmosphere with a real focus on training and development. They have quarterly social events and great on site facilities including free parking.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising mortgage clients on insurance options based around their income and liabilities. You will need to be able to work at a fast pace and manage ongoing client relationships which you have created.

You will need to be highly skilled in communicating and be able to build client relationships quickly by understanding needs and building professional rapport. You will need to be able to demonstrate professional energy with clients and show a desire to identify their needs and develop these into opportunities.

Leads will be mainly provided from our in-house mortgage department, currently circa 50% of clients take insurance options with the team alongside their mortgage. You will be assisted by an excellent administration team that will work with you closely to get the quickest and most positive outcome for your client.

The Ideal Candidate

As a minimum, you will have existing sales experience in either of the protection or mortgage arenas. Initial training and ongoing coaching will be provided to develop your skills, but you must have the hunger and drive to succeed. Being able to work both as an individual and be part of a team are of the upmost importance.

Your ability to build relationships will be key to your success, as you communicate with other areas of the business which will directly influence your ability to succeed.

This is a permanent full-time position with a start in July / August. Due to the location, it would be best if you have your own transport or are locally based.

This would suit someone who has worked previously in the financial (retail) industry and has a passion for sales and providing excellent customer service.
