Permanent Position

Salary in the region of £27-30k depending on experience

Job Summary

* Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
* Make sure all financial reporting deadlines are met
* Reconcile and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities, carry out book keeping duties
* Prepare financial management reports ensuring these are accurate and done in a timely manner, monthly, quarterly and at year end
* Continuous management and support of weekly forecast with others
* Accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
* Delegate and manage others in the finance team, be disciplined and have accountability
* All interactions with HMRC including PAYE, P60, P11d, NIC payments, CIS returns, personal tax return for company directors Duties and responsibilities:
*
* Management information - P&L, cost analyses, etc.
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Producing dividend statements
* Payroll management
* Processing bank payments
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Bank reconciliations
* Handling sales/purchase ledger queries
* Processing expenses forms, credit card payments and fuel cards
* Completing Ad Hoc government returns.
* Providing cover for other team members as required
