Here at Victory Services Club, we are looking to employ a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team based in Marble Arch. The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of £8.67.

Victory Services Club is a tri-Service, all ranks, private military members’ Club for currently serving and retired members of the UK Armed Forces and allies. The Club offers a truly unique Club atmosphere, excellent service and value for money, impressive accommodation, and varied dining and events options.

The Club is a registered charity and has two charitable objectives: to provide a place for serving and ex-serving personnel to meet; and to support serving or ex-serving personnel who face hardship or distress, including those wounded as a result of operational service. Respite and Welfare Breaks are provided by the Club which is just one element of our wider activity in support of the second charitable objective.

As our Food & Beverage Assistant you will assist in the smooth running of all catering departments to deliver the highest level of professional service to both Club members and events clientele.

The Food & Beverage Assistant, duties and key responsibilities:

- Assist and deliver high customer service to all members and guests as directed by the Food & Beverage Manager or one of their deputies.

- Assist Club members and their guests in any query they may have about the Club.

- Be fully conversant with the EPOS system installed at the club.

- Liaise and assist in all areas of the F&B Department during peak periods.

- Preparation of F&B Outlets ready for service as per HAM folder.

- Service to members as per HAM folder.

- Inform the necessary individual of any issues that may arise during service to avoid any possible service faults for the members and their guests.

- Ensure that all areas of the F&B department are clean and tidy.

- Follow the Club policies as stated in the Staff Handbook.

- Ensure that there is accurate revenue capture in all F&B Outlets.

- Work in a professional, courteous manner in any of the F&B Outlets.

To become our Food & Beverage Assistant you must have the following skills and experience:

- High level of customer care skills

- Attention to detail.

- Ability to prioritise and serve several rooms at any given time.

- Flexibility.

- Must be a responsible team player.

In return for your hard work and commitment as our Food & Beverage Assistant you will receive an hourly rate of £8.67 plus benefits including 28 days holiday per year, free meals on duty (conditions apply) and be part of our training and development programme.
