We are a Employment agency, offering long /short temporary job placements.

We are currently sourcing for qualified Chefs to work in our schools based around Hounslow & Feltham.

2 Utility Bills as Proof of Address, not older than 3 months

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The preparation and cooking of all meals and snacks for the children.

2. Preparation, cooking and baking various food items according to the set menus.

3. Responsible for checking stock regularly and placing orders for dried, fresh and frozen ingredients as required and carrying out stock control in accordance with set budget.

4. To plan varied daily menus as appropriate to the dietary needs of the children paying particular attention to the provision of correctly balanced diets.

5. Prepare and pack meals appropriately for delivery of food

6. Ensure the kitchen is maintained to the highest possible standard of hygiene at all times assisting the kitchen assistant in clearing and washing up after meals, cleaning of all kitchen equipment and all general hygiene of all kitchen areas.

7. Maintain a very high standard of personal hygiene and personal hygiene practices.

8. Be fully conversant with the requirements of food hygiene and food safety legislation, the health and safety at work. Act and fire evacuation procedures.

9. To ensure all faults, breakages, shortages in equipment are all brought to the attention of the Head Teacher.

10. To cater for the occasional function, e.g. parents evenings, staff and volunteer Christmas lunch, Open Evening (all once per year).

11. To participate in and update where necessary any appropriate training, e.g. Food Hygiene, Health & Safety.

12. Any other duties which may be required from time to time as directed by the Supervisory officer
