With fantastic support given this Teaching Assistant role could be the perfect opportunity for an outstanding university graduate looking to become a primary school teacher.

As a Teaching Assistant your role will involve you supporting a class of 30 pupils working with a dedicated and experienced teacher who has been at the school for a number of years and is a valued and highly respected member of the school’s teaching team. Part of your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to plan and deliver small group sessions to high ability pupils, ensuring they are challenged to reach the attainment levels they have been set.

A fantastic opportunity is available from September 2017 for top university graduates who have/will graduate with a 2:1 or above degree and who are aspiring primary school teachers.

Premier Pathways is an exciting new teacher training programme for exceptional graduates that is fully paid throughout the 2 years of the programme.

Beginning the programme in a teaching support role, you will receive training and support over the 2 years to become a confident, fully qualified teacher, holding a PGCE & QTS.

• £15,000 pa training salary

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role you must be a highly motivated graduate, who is passionate about teaching and learning. Ideally you will have some experience working with young people and must have a 2:1 or above Hons degree. (or been predicted).

*** Be a high calibre graduate holding a First or 2:1 degree
*** Be able to self-study
