Nationally recognised charity specialising in the care for children with severe learning disabilities is currently recruiting for night support workers to join their residential team and asist them in making a positive impact on the lives of the young people.

We are currently recruiting for this a PMLD and high needs service which is recognised as one of the UK's leading centres for children and young adults with neurological motor impairment such as Cerebral Palsy, and has a national reputation for work in supporting young people's communication and developing independence through powered mobility.

As a night support worker you must have the ability to work independantly and be able to work well under pressure with a focus on the comfort and well being of the service user. You will be engaging the children on a regular basis, forming relationships and assisting them at night times, the overall aim is to provide a stimulating and inclusive environment where all young people are given every opportunity to make progress towards fulfilment and develop life skills in preparation for adulthood.

Based in a rural location the service has been established for a number of years and has an extremely low staff turnover, mostly due to the favourable working conditions and training related pay scales. Meaning that the more training you complete... the more you get paid.

Previous experience in a similar field is preferred but please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have experience you feel is relevant, we will love to hear from you.

The role comes with some amazing benefits:

- Compulsory pay rises upon probation completion.
- Great team working environment.
- The chance to work toward recognised care qualification. (NVQ 3 and 5)

Please apply now to get started and apply, this is a great opportunity to work in a specialist care field and to develop skills.

Due to the rural nature of the services car drivers are essential.
