Position: Centre Administrator 
Location: Bristol 
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent 
Hours: 22.5 hours per week 
Salary: Pro-rata to £16380 - £18435 per annum 

About the role: 

Within this role the Administrator will provide a range of centre-based administrative support for staff and learners engaged on Access to Music programmes. 

Responsibilities: 

- Ensuring that all administrative procedures are effectively followed, including accurately recording information into their management information systems and liaising with staff to resolve queries. Data entry. 
- Organising the effective archiving of learners` paperwork. 
- Supporting centre based admissions and enrolment processes including data entry, receiving and receipting of fees, contact and follow-up of learners to ensure completion of enrolment, notification of auditions, interviews and events. 
- Supporting centre management in respect of register audits and completion of appropriate returns and assist in the recording, analysis and reporting of attendance and retention data. 
- Supporting the appropriate validation and audit of learner data held in the student record system, including class registers and timetables and contribute to the resolution of errors. 
- Recording learner`s absence and ensuring that teaching staff are informed, including working closely with the Learning Services Tutor to track and monitor attendance, support referrals to external agencies, maintain contact with learners, parents and other agencies as appropriate. 
- Act as or work closely with the Centre Examinations Officer to carry out a range of duties in respect of the centre based examinations including Functional Skills Assessments and GCSE`s including. 

About you: 

- Experience of collection, validation and management of essential data. 
- Effective organisational skills, the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks for self and others and work efficiently. 
- Experience of the use of computerised systems, including MS Office applications, with the ability to develop, implement and maintain manual and computerised management information systems. 
- Ability to build rapport with learners, staff and communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally. 
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and safe working practices. 
- Ability to read, understand, interpret and disseminate complex information. 
- Problem solving and negotiation skills. 
- Experience of working in a customer service environment is highly desirable.
