Fundraiser for Charity (not sales) - Liverpool - £18,000 plus great benefits

Recruiting for Care is one of the UK's leading providers of permanent recruitment solutions to the Nursing, Health and Social Care sectors and we offer bespoke consultancy services to clients and candidates alike.

We are looking for a creative, passionate person to join our office based fundraising team in Liverpool City Centre. This client is a Charity based around supporting and empowering children and adults with Learning disabilities and they need someone to come up with new and inventive ideas for raising money.

This is not a sales role and you will be not be cold calling or stopping people in the street.

This role requires you to use your creative imagination to think of ways to raise money. This could mean anything from crowd funding, to events, to contacting local establishments and lottery looking for potential donors. You will be writing bids and building relationships to ensure there is a steady stream of donors throughout the year.

It is essential that you have excellent writing skills, good grammar and an eye for detail as well as a warm and friendly attitude with a passion for this sector. It is important you have some knowledge of health and social care. You do not need to come from a fundraising background as we have a fantastic manager who will guide and mentor you where needed.

This is perfect for a journalist or someone from a writing background looking for a new and interesting way to use their skills. It would also be suitable for a recent graduate who has a care or support background or a social media/blogger who wants to use their creativity to contribute to empowering the individually associated with this charity

This job is based in the head office in Liverpool and will be a 9am to 5pm position, Monday to Friday. You will be offered a salary of £18,000 plus great benefits such as a drive to work scheme, pension and 28 days holiday.
