My client currently requires a Cleaning Operations Manager based across 5 large sites in Bristol to ensure all Health and Safety requirements are being met along with the successful delivery of all cleaning service lines through directly employed and sub contracted colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a high profile business in the facilities service provider sector.

My client are a high profile supplier to the public sector providing solutions to a number of blue chip clients. As such, Health and Safety is of prime importance to ensure a safe working environment for all of their employees as well as delivering a top class Facilities offering.


The Cleaning Operations Manager will be responsible for all elements of Soft FM provision to 5 large sites in Bristol. They will have a shared passion for delivering a safe, compliant environment for my client's employees with Cleaning provided to the standard expected for a blue chip client. Duties will include:

- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety policies

- Monitoring performance of all on site staff

- Managing the cleaning teams including supervisors and managers

- Delivering a multi million pound P&L

- Coaching and developing a winning team mentality

- Delivering projects on time and in budget

- Work with the site Operations team to ensure the wider business is adequately supported

- Providing monthly reports and reducing work in progress

- Working towards a zero harm environment by reducing accidents year on year

- Keep abreast of Health & Safety legislation and complete reports in a timely manner


The successful Cleaning Operations Manager will evidence the following:

- Track record in delivering outstanding cleaning services

- Having managed teams of managers/supervisors

- P&L exposure

- Excellent management and communication skills

- Confident decision maker with excellent problem solving skills

- Excellent understanding of cleaning schedules, report writing and audit procedures

- Commutable of Bristol

Job Offer

In return for the above my client is offering a competitive salary of £28000 - £32000
