Our client iis a dynamic and successful housing association that finds and implements innovative solutions and aims to provide the optimum level of service to our customers.

Now in its 13th year, our successful In-house Apprenticeship Programme will help you to develop and train as a Heating Engineer. Working in all aspects of heating from gas, oil, air sources and unvented cylinders. Over a period of four years, you will have the opportunity to shadow our skilled team to learn whilst working in addition to attending college on block release to gain a QCF level 2 & 3 Diploma in Plumbing & Heating.

A genuine willingness to progress within the heating field and a can do attitude. Along with practical ability, good hand skills and an eye for detail is essential.

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C (2017 grading 4) or above, which must include Maths and English Language are essential.

Training for the Apprentice Heating Engineer will be via JTL (A national training provider). Therefore it is essential you register as an applicant with JTL before submitting an application. As part of the registration process you will need to complete the online Entry Assessment which includes:

Literacy
Numeracy
Aptitude
Along with ICT, Learning Style, Applicant Profile & Colour Vision
