Support worker job - Full time permanent - Ross On Wye - Adults with Learning difficulties

Your new company
A fantastic national charity that look after adults with Learning difficulties and complex needs. Established over 20 years ago in Gloucestershire by a group of parents who had children with Learning difficulties and complex needs, who felt once they left school there was a lack of provisions and care. They started the charity with the ethos of putting the residents care and support before anything else and ensuring they live a successful and happy life.

Your new role
Your new job is to work as a Support worker within the new services in the Forest of Dean. The service looks after young adults who have recently come out of child care services and have moved into adult services. This is a full time job working with the residents as a Support worker to help the residents in supporting their every day needs. This can range from helping with personal care, emotional support and helping to access the community.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience or working with adults with Learning difficulties or complex needs within a Support role previously, ideally hold a driving licence and an NVQ in Health and Social care. Most of all though we are looking for people who have the right passion and drive to make a difference in peoples life.

What you'll get in return
