Sewell Wallis are exclusively recruiting a Management Accountant for a well-established and highly thought of manufacturing organisation in Huddersfield.

Due to internal promotion they are seeking to recruit a newly qualified accountant who will learn the business and product by being highly visible, asking questions, and getting involved at every opportunity to add value away from the standard month end duties.

Key Responsibilities:
*Responsible for the accuracy of the P&L and Balance Sheet
*Weekly cash flow forecasting
*Support the Financial Controller on all commercial and deep dive analysis
*Create automated reports to analyse customer and product profitability
*Provide commercial acumen and strategic thinking to aid the growth of the business
*Fully manage the month end process and reporting packs including commentary and variance analysis
*Management reporting to support strategic decision making
*Provide support to key company initiatives such as system development and performance analysis

Due to the nature of the role it is essential you have strong commercial skills and fantastic inter personal skills. Strong excel skills - (pivot tables, vlook ups, sumifs) is advantageous as you look to delve into the data and produce meaningful insight and analysis that you are able to relate back to real business issues.

This is a fantastic role that will give you freedom to develop as an accountant and can be seen as a stepping stone in a Finance Business Partner/ Financial Controller role in the next few years.
