My client, a medium sized mid-tier successful law firm based in Manchester City Centre are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary (Litigation) to work with them on a temporary assignment.

* Undertaking secretarial work, dealing solely with Litigation

* Audio typing email and correspondence

* Typing corporate documentation

* Taking telephone messages

* Arranging client meetings

* Preparing file opening documents in accordance to the Firm's compliance procedures

* Typing general correspondence to include letters, facsimiles and emails

* Amending documents using track changes

* Organising paper and electronic files and keeping the same up to date

* Archiving files upon completion

* Updating Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems

To be considered for this position you must have worked as a Legal Secretary (Litigation) and be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Excellent typing speed and accuracy

* Excellent communication skills

* Microsoft Office skills

* Self-disciplined and organised.

A positive attitude and willingness to support is key to the role as is accuracy and attention to detail. The diverse nature of the role and multiple responsibilities mean that the ability to successfully prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines is essential.
