Fantastic role! My client, a globally recognised manufacturing business, are actively looking for a dynamic Production Planner in greater Manchester. THE ROLE

As a Production planner, you will be reporting directly to the UK Supply Chain Manager. The Planner will be responsible for machine scheduling, capacity management and material purchasing for a set of products. Key accountabilities will include;

Responsible for execution of Production Plan for specific business areas using MRP/ERP systems.
*

Work closely within the Supply Chain, Production and Purchasing departments to ensure customer orders are met whilst simultaneously determining the most effective and efficient delivery schedules for all parties involved.
*

Manage and maintain good information flow to Customer Services and the Sales department ensuring that expectations are met in line with the marketing offer.
*

Maintain and establish close working relationships with suppliers both external and internal to ensure efficient and reliable supply of raw materials.

THE PERSON

The ideal Production Planner will need to have strong organisational and communication skills and be experienced in the following;

*

Minimum 1 year+ Planning experience
*

Strong Communication and organisational capabilities
*

Team Player
*

Strong IT/ Systems experience
*

Experience in dealing with a diverse supplier / customer base.
