We are currently running a search for a Key Account Manager on behalf of a leading UK tier one automotive manufacturer. This company supply a broad array of engineered components to the leading UK OEMs and have experienced huge growth over recent years.

This role will be tasked with being the main commercial and technical interface for their largest UK OEM clients. The role focus on driving customer sales and continuing account growth and development.

This role will report directly to the Sales Director and work in a fairly autonomous manner.
This role will be tasked with providing technical support and advice with current and new customers acting as an innovative partner to their client base. As the main point of liaison this individual must therefore be technically astute, as well as commercially aware in an all encompassing Account Management based position.

Experience Required

* Engineering/Technical background
* Track record in a successful account manager/technical sales based role
* Driving forward change and embedding a positive sales culture
* "Hands on" willingness to business develop full sales life cycle
* Natural ability to support a broad range of clients and multiple stakeholders
