My client based in Woolwich is recruiting a Commercial Assistant to cover a maternity leave 12 months.++
Your role will be to contribute to the achievement of the organisation's objectives and continuous improvement specifically in relation to the administration of commercial functions including some materials procurement and invoice processing. This role is working in a busy FM environment and construction or FM background is desirable
* To carry out and administer the purchasing and delivery of materials, supplies and services
* To monitor purchased materials and products to ensure the specification is met on supply and in accordance with contract compliance
* To record and monitor expenditure and prepare accurate and timely financial and commercial management information and reports
* To liaise with existing and identify alternative suppliers to ensure best pricing and quality of materials supplied
* To maintain effective relationships with suppliers and resolve all disputes promptly
* To ensure invoices and applications are accurate and approved before submitting for settlement
* To assist with estimating administration
* To ensure compliance with quality management procedures relating to commercial and procurement functions
* To assist with maintaining commercial records
* To monitor cash receipts
* To assist in monitoring subcontractor performance
* To maintain subcontractor order registers and assist in the issue of subcontract orders
