A leading and highly respected registered charity are looking for a key member of the team to provide IT systems support. The day to day maintenance and development of the IT systems and peripheral systems will be the mainstay of the role, with the emphasis on 'prevention' rather than 'cure'. The protection of the data held within the systems is of paramount importance, and the network is subject to annual security penetration testing and compliance certification by government approved testers.

* IT qualifications or certifications desirable
* Experience of leading on IT in a small organisation
* Experience of both hardware and software issues
* Knowledge of MS server based networks and MS Office applications
* Experience of developing and using databases, MS SQL ideal but other database experience will be considered. Note that development of the main database will not be part of the role, but an understanding of how the database operates will be advantageous
* Experience of Visual Studio and similar applications
* Experience of managing small networks
* Experience or knowledge of government security standards an advantage
