The largest water and waste-water services company in the UK is seeking a M&E Site Project Engineer to join its expanding team. You will be field based, covering multiple locations in and around Twickenham, Guildford, Farnham, Aldershot, Slough and Luton.

This company provides the essential service at the heart of daily life, health and enjoyment to 15 million customers across London and the Thames Valley and are going through a period of exciting change. On a typical day, it supplies 2.6 billion litres of top quality drinking water and its 350-sewage treatment works to treat more than 4.2bn litres of waste-water.

As the M&E Site Project Engineer your duties will include:

- Individually owning and delivering a portfolio of ME&I projects with a value of up to £5m per annum.
- Working with the operational client to scope, define and cost a solution that is both value for money and fit for purpose.
- Supporting and engaging in design reviews and HAZOP studies.
- Drafting, vetting and approving RAMS, pre-construction information, project plans / programmes, construction phase H&S plans (CPP), H&S files, commissioning plans etc.
- Setting contractors to work and managing the site based construction activity, typically for above ground ME&I installations/refurbishment works for a wide variety of process assets. 
- Arranging for site access, permits and isolations. Carrying out site based inductions, safety audits, tool box talks, safety briefings.
- Monitoring and reporting against the project program.
- Overseeing the commissioning and hand over of the project to the operational client.
- Ensuring appropriate training has been completed and that completion documents are available and handed over, test certificates, as constructed drawings, O&Ms etc.
- Closing out any snagging and monitoring asset performance post completion. 

To be a successful M&E Site Project Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous technical experience in a relevant industrial / construction engineering environment.
- Good inter-personnel skills, be an effective communicator, numerate, literate, with an ability and willingness to develop a personal skill base.
- A minimum been apprenticeship trained (mechanical / electrical) with a proven work history of a managing projects and contractors from multiple disciplines ideally with BTEC/HN(C) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- The ability to work with minimum supervision, under your own initiative to deliver specified outputs. An understanding or experience working with Microsoft project would be an advantage.

In return, the M&E Site Project Engineer will receive a salary of £38,000 - £49,000 OTE per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
